Mild Christmas Weather Ahead

Winnipeg will enjoy seasonably mild temperatures right through Christmas Day.

Winnipeg will continue to see daytime highs in the -5 to 10°C range through the first half of the week as a series of weak systems move through the region. Today, the city will see partly cloudy skies with light southeast winds as a high pressure system moves through. Skies will become cloudier tonight as a low pressure system approaches. Tuesday will bring mostly cloudy skies to the region as the low moves through. Winds will stay light, shifting westerly later in the day and there will be just a small chance of flurries. Skies will be cloudy on Christmas Day with light winds again as a ridge of high pressure moves into the region.
